Partnering to Improve Care Pilot:Training Opportunity for Home Care Workers and Family Caregivers
Family caregivers and home care workers are vital to the well-being of older adults they support. Strengthening their partnership can enhance health, safety, and overall quality of life for older adults. That's why we're introducing the Partnering to Improve Care Training series, designed to empower both family caregivers and home care workers with essential skills
for effective collaboration.
The Opportunity
Register for the Partnering In Care Training for Family Caregivers or Home Care Workers. After you complete the training, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and a $75 gift card from PHI.
What You'll Learn
Sign up to join the training in three steps:
Click the SIGNUP button at the top of this web page and enter your details. Be sure to select your role where indicated.
Check your email for confirmation you have been enrolled in the Partnering to Improve Care training for your selected role.
Log in to the PHI Training hub to complete your assigned training and receive your Certificate of Completion and your stipend.

If you are a home care worker (direct care worker) or a family caregiver and are interested in taking part in this pilot, you may register by clicking the SIGN UP button at the top of this page.
You will be asked to Select Your Role. Please select your role by identifying yourself with one of the following:
Home Care Worker
- You are currently a paid home care worker providing services to at least one older adult or person with disabilities in their home, and;
- The older adult or person with disabilities is not one of your family members (i.e., you’re not related to them).
Family Caregiver
- You are a paid or unpaid family member providing hands-on support to one of your family members at home (e.g., a grandparent, parent, brother or sister, or other relative).
